Reef Check Coral Reef Program

Trains volunteer EcoDiver citizen scientists to survey coral-reef health using one standardised global protocol, feeding reef management worldwide. Over 17,500 surveys completed since 1997.

Reef Check Kelp Forest Program

Volunteer divers monitor kelp-forest health along the North American West Coast to support science-based ocean management, completing over 200 surveys in the 2025 season.
