Protecting wildlife and you
We share where to go, not where to stand. Sightings show a named place like La Jolla or Playa del Carmen, never GPS coordinates, so you can plan an adventure without anyone pinpointing an animal or a person.
Some species are critically endangered, endangered, or targeted by poachers and illegal collectors. For those, we show sightings at the regional level so a single cove or reserve can't be traced. You'll still see your exact place on your own passport.
Sighting locations are limited to towns, neighborhoods, parks, and natural areas. That keeps your home and other private spots off the map.
Phone photos often carry hidden GPS data. We remove it when you upload, so your photos never reveal more than your sighting does.
Using VoyageAway
Any wild animal you've seen in person: a species, a place, and a date and a photo if you have them.
Tap ♡ on any species, destination, adventure, or mission to save it to your passport. It's a handy way to keep track of what you want to see next.
Missions
No. We're a wildlife discovery platform that connects you with the missions doing conservation work. Paid plans send a share of your subscription to our featured missions, and every mission page links straight to the organization's own page so you can get involved directly.
